Every Gurmat Amrit Sanchaar is the same; Guru Ji blesses the Sikhs in the same way.
Very Brief description of Gurmat Amrit sanchaar
In Presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
5 Singhs as the Punj
Kakkars must be worn and devotee must be willing to keep hair uncut.
The Khanda (double edged sword is used)
The Punj banis are recited while stirring the water in the iron bowl with the khanda. (sugar crystals are added too)
The amirt is drunk and put in eyes and head 5 times each (Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh is repeated each time).
The Gurmantar, Mool mantar and Gurmat rehat is told.
So why do some AKJ’s say that "Our Jatha Sanchaar gives you Naam Dhird and no other Jatha Sanchaar does this" (Due to this reason they call other Amrit Sanchaars incomplete and advise people to retake Amrit from their Jatha). Every Punj piare tell you to read Gurbani and to wake up at Amrit vela and jaap naam by doing the Gurmantar and mool mantar (Amrit is the start of the journey it is not the end). The more you do this the more purer you become and with Guru Ji’s kirpa you get to God. What the AKJ’s call Naam dhird is a technique of repeating Waheguru with each breath.
For example when you breathe in you say WAHE and when you breathe out you say GURU.
It’s a technique of sawas sawas simran (repeating waheguru with every breath). You don’t need to be AKJ to do that. Non amritdharis even use this technique it is well known. AKJ Amrit sanchaars is just the same as any other Gurmat Sanchaar. I don’t know why people feel they need to take Amrit again because they didn’t get Naam dhird. I just explained naam dhird in this article (No need to go and see the Punj to get this technique).
