please send to aLL APNA MEAT SHOPS

Dear Shop keeper

First of all I thank you for your time taken to read this letter. This letter is intended to educate you in keeping the respect and honour of Sikhi high in correspondence to your work/business premises. Sikhi teaches a way of life that is pure and righteous. The eating of meat is clearly condemned in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The killing and cooking of innocent animals is seen as cruel and barbaric by Sikhs. In reality a person of the Sikh faith should avoid selling these carcasses to others as a way of earning. But that is another subject I am writing to you because I am appalled at the fact that some people have put the following Sikh symbols in their meat shops:

  • Pictures of the Sikh Gurus
  • Gurbani quotes (shabads) such as Ik-Onkaar
  • Khandas the insignia of Khalsa army

This is total disrespect to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the Sikh nation as it portrays them in the wrong way.

The Pictures of the Gurus are meant for inspiration and act as a visual aid to remember the Sikh history. They are meant to be in books, Gurdwaras and the houses of Sikhs. To promote a business of sin is not a place for them.

Gurbani is meant for our salvation, it is not a fashion symbol. Gurbani is the Guru and the Guru is Gurbani there is no difference between the two. The Guru would not sit in a meat shop and promote butchers, so why do we put Gurbani stickers etc in our meat shops?

The Khanda represents the sacrifices made by the Khalsa army in defending truth and justice. It also represents deep spiritual meanings of the Sikh faith. It is outrageous that people are using it as a symbol of pride (proud of their business of vices)

This is a humble request from members of the Sikh Sangat that if any off the above disrespects (offences) are going on in your premises could you please remove the relevant items.

Thank you very much.

You kill animals (living beings) and call it a righteous action (halal). Tell me brother what do you call an unrighteous action? You call yourself the most excellent sage (person of great wisdom) then who do you call a butcher? –Ang-1103- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

If ones clothes are stained with blood; the garment becomes polluted; those who consume blood in the form of flesh (meat) how can their conscious be pure? -Ang-140-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The world eats dead carcasses, living by neglect and greed like goblins; or a beast, they kill and eat forbidden carcasses of meat. So control your urges or else you will be seized by the lord and thrown into the torture of hell. -Ang-723-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

One (a person who eats meat); keeps fast in order to please Allah, But (under the urges to taste meat) they kill innocent helpless animals. He keeps in view only his selfish motive in the forefront. He does not care for the feelings of pain and suffering of the poor animals through his ruthless acts of killing. What good is his word? -Ang-483-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The butcher slaughters the goat and its meat is salted and strung on a skewer. Laughingly, the goat says while being killed “I have come to this condition while grazing aak plants”. But what will be the plight (fate/situation) of those who cut the throat and then eat the flesh of an animal? - Var 37, Pauri 21-Bhai Gurdas Ji

Kabeer; to use force is tyranny, even if you call it legal. When your account is called for in the court of the lord; what will your condition be then? Kabeer; the dinner of beans & rice is excellent; if it is flavoured with salt. Who would cut their throat; to have meat with their bread?-1374-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Kabeer, they oppress living Beings and kill them and call it proper. When the lord calls for their account; what will their condition be? Kabeer; it is tyranny to use force; the lord shall call you to account. When your account is called for; your face and mouth shall be beaten. -Ang-1375-Sri
Guru Granth Ji

Dear Shop keeper

First of all I thank you for your time taken to read this letter. This letter is intended to educate you in keeping the respect and honour of Sikhi high in correspondence to your work/business premises. Sikhi teaches a way of life that is pure and righteous. The sins of alcohol and tobacco are clearly condemned in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The use of intoxicants is seen as a worldly pleasure which deludes the mind and ones whole body becomes polluted and corrupted. In reality a person of the Sikh faith should avoid selling these poisons to others as a way of earning. But that is another subject I am writing to you because I am appalled at the fact that some people have put the following Sikh symbols in their off-licences:

Punjab on High Alert

Chandigarh, Jul 18 (PTI) One person was today killed in a clash between a group of Sikhs and Dera Sacha Sauda supporters in Dabwali town in Haryana’s Sirsa district, prompting police in neighbouring Punjab to go on high alert.
The clash broke out after an altercation between two sides during morning prayers naamcharcha of Dera supporters in Dabwali, about 60 km from Sirsa, Deputy Commissioner V Umashankar said.

“One person belonging to the group of Sikh supporters slipped and fell down and was killed in the brickbatting during the clash,” he said.

Umashankar said that the district administration had not been told about the Dera programme in advance.

“Generally, we are informed about any naamcharcha by the Dera people, but this time we had no information because of which we could not take any action.

“It was a small prayer congregation in which about 30-35 people from Dera side were present and the Sikh group numbered about 50. There was some altercation between the two groups after which they clashed and pelted stones at each other,” he told PTI.

He said tension has been brewing up in Dabwali and Sirsa, the headquarters of the Dera, whose head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is at loggerheads with the Sikhs.

Additional forces including two companies (200 personnel) of Rapid Action Force has been deployed in Sirsa and Dabwali to prevent any untoward incident, he said.

Some Sikhs from Punjab have also reached here and protesters have blocked Sirsa-Bathinda road, sources said.

Sikh killed in clash with Dera followers in Haryana

July 18th, 2008 - 12:22 pm ICT by IANS

Dabwali (Haryana), July 18 (IANS) A Sikh youth was killed in a clash between followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect and Sikh activists here Friday, police said. About 10 Sikh activists tried to stop a "naam charcha" (prayer meeting) of the Dera followers in this town in Sirsa district, about 350 km from state capital Chandigarh.

The sect followers retaliated by pelting stones and one of the Sikh actvists, Mandar Singh, was killed in the violence that ensued. Police said he had sustained a head injury.

District officials and police reinforcements rushed to the spot to maintain law and order. The police were put on alert in Sirsa town, where the headquarters of the sect led by Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh is located.

The sect chief has been involved in a controversy with the Sikh community since May last year after he attired himself like 10th Sikh guru, Gobind Singh, during a religious ceremony. This led to violence in Punjab, Haryana and several other states as Sikhs objected to his actions and demanded his arrest.

More recently, the hostility between the sect and Sikhs was re-ignited when a private security guard of the sect chief killed a Sikh youth outside a Mumbai mall last month when some Sikhs protested against the Dera chief's presence there.

Brahmin Elite Essay written by Sikh youth aged 13

THE REAL ILLUMINATI - THE BAMANS

Ever since Guru Nanak Dev Ji rejected the Jinoo the Brahmin elite have decided to destroy Sikhism or the least control it's destiny through all means, people go on about the Western governments illuminati and so on and how they control the populations through various means the new world order and so on.

That is nothing compared to the Brahmin elite which has controlled South Asia/India for thousands of years, you lot may know the symbolism of the pyramid in western theories, well the real pyramid is within India itself. The Brahmin elite are at the very top who have control over everything underneath them. the army - warriors, businessmen, and so on, they profit from everything i.e. : war, through domination they make minorities fight and encourage it e.g.: Sikh - Muslims, they will pump up both groups and provide resources weapons through which they profit, not only do they profit but they achieve their goal of ruling over both groups while they fight each other. They are behind the scenes all the time a mere 5% or so of them control what goes on across India , the education system is flawed for a reason to dumb down the population , so they will not ask for their rights. Psychologically they are controlling the very destiny of the Sikh nation through the spread of false literature slowly promoting hindu ideas within SikhI causing infights and promoting Deras so that whenever the Sikhs rise they have a reason to attack and crush them by saying they are terrorists, by saying they are terrorists they can detain them for as long as they like, the majority would support this as they feel 'safe' from Sikh terrorists. Attacks are staged to scare the majority into thinking that it is ok for Sikhs to be taken in and to be called terrorists, this was used widely in the 80's the mass killing by the Indian Agencies of Hindus so, the government had a reason to crackdown on innocent Sikhs. Society has been brought to its knees in Panjab by the brahmin elite who control what everyone reads, sees, and even speaks.

The 5th Guru became Shaheed due to the brahim banker chandu (bankers, have a huge hand in the brahmin elite), who lied to the moguls that SGGSJ had verses against Islam.

A lot of Brahmins hated Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Because in every major battle he fought behind it the main logistical support of the opposition was provided by the Hindu Hill Raja's all brahmins, all these wars were instigated by the hill raja's in an effort to kill off the Panth.

Gangu brahmin an ancestor of Indira Gandhi, gave in the Gurus sons the Sahibzadeh, when a Muslim priest said do not kill the children he intervened and said they are snakes and the sons of snakes.

Ranjit Singhs kingdom fell due to the Hindu Dogras, on one side they had meetings with the British, and on the other claimed to support the Sikh War against the Invasion, they profited hugely from the war more than they would have dreamed of, a pay off from the British and the war loot. In the end, they made the Kings after ranjeet singh fight one another to destabilize power in the Panjab, like Govt's do to one another these days.

1947 they the panjab be partitioned why? Due to the fact that the main two groups were Sikhs and Muslims, it would not affect the Brahmin elite if they killed on another off. They would profit from future wars, the war's which the dumbed down Sikh population of Panjab would fight .After that Sikhs all of a sudden were declared a criminal race, and crackdowns ordered as they knew Sikhs would begin to ask for their rights, as they cracked down they knew that Sikhs would rise in self defense and thus black laws were made for detention and so on.

Grain/food prices are and were set by the Central govt so that the common farmer and common folk do not rise above (profit margin) where they should be according to the brahmin elite, on top taxes were made higher then loans were given which in turn add interest on to the accounts which the farmers cannot pay, leading to more loans and spiraling debt.

Self declared gurus were supported and are supported like the Nirankaris ,as they know that they have to detach the Sikhs from Sikhism to remain in ultimate power ,by smearing the lines between Sikhi and cults they have aimed to attract the common man to these deras, in an effort to drag them away from the Sikh values which expose the 'Indian illuminati'. Attacks were staged before Operation Bluestar ie: explosions on trains which they then used to try and justify the attack on Akal Thakt and the crackdown on Sikhs, blacklaws were used detention without trail and so on. The Govt building contractors were given the task of rebuilding Akal Thakt and other destroyed shrines across the Panjab ,from which the Companies would again profit from ,while at the same time trying to make sure that they dumb down Sikhs and show they 'care', when really they have only done that so Sikhs continue to follow them like the rest of the population, now that the threat from Amritsar the revolution of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was gone, they had nothing to worry about, and thought Sikhs would continue to serve them. When the movement in the West got too big for Khalistan and human rights, thousands were picked up in Panjab and vanished, bounties were put on the heads of Sikhs to lure informers, generals were given pay rises as Sikh fighters were caught, defence companies were given contracts to make more weapons for the Indian Army, which they in turn sold to Hindu militant groups who would stage attacks while posing a Sikhs. The ultimate plan came in 1985 - Air India, as hijacking/Planes and these kinds of things were popular and a real act of terrorism in the west, India bombed it's own airliner, firstly to destroy the Sikh Movement across the World which was the only source left for support, second to defame Sikhs across the world as terrorists so the whole world would go against them, and to make sure they had no support, false news reports were broadcast in India and other countries calling Sikhs terrorists, the word Sikh - Terrorist were always used together, Videos of Bluestar -false Propaganda videos were released also so that the Western so called educated Sikhs would see a so called justification of the attack ,if the Western Sikhs stopped supporting the movement there would be no threat and the very few who did in Panjab and the West would be isolated as terrorists and extremists giving Govt's the reason to crackdown ,detain and even kill them.

Sikhs in India are constantly told that they are Hindus everywhere, from TV to the Cinema, Sikhs are Hindus, Sikhs are Hindus, Sikhs are Hindus, this is drummed in to the heads of Sikhs from the school age, they grow up and end up in the same situation that people have been in for thousands of years, under the elite brahmin authority, it is unseen but it is there a small percentage of these powerful shadowy figures control a population of over a billion in South Asia. They have made it in to the very in roads of Sikh Political and Religious authoritys. Any Sikh who goes above the line or speaks out is automatically a terrorist and extremist so therefore in the public eye it is justified for their own so called 'safety' that this Sikhs is detained his human rights taken away and so on. While the majority of the Sikh population keep serving their masters, fighting the wars, paying the taxes, get more loans to pay off debts, get in to more debt and so on. Throughout history the elite anywhere in the World have loved to control natural resources - therefore the Brahmins have transferred Panjabs river water to other states, govt contractors are given contracts to make channels and so on the profit rolls in, the farmers life gets harder he looks for alternatives, and uses chemicals little does he know hes making things worse for himself, chemicals cost money and he is already in debt he takes another loan and pays that off as well as tax the little crop he makes is sold at a rate the Govt want he comes back home and is back to square one. Indira Gandhis ancestors were the Kashmiri Pandits and Hill Raja's they were the pandits which decided on the day that Guru Nanak rejected the jinoo that Sikhism would have to be controlled through whatever way possible and eventually eradicated, history shows this, Indira's relative Gangu shows this, the Hill rajas show this, the dogras show this, Hindutva shows this.

Buddhism was uprooted by this eilte brahim class, who control everything, jains are very rarely found, the Dalits have been made sub servants ,and this has been happening for thousands of years even before Sikhi. That pyramid - lineage of Brahmins have been in control for countless ages, now we Sikhs are their next target - have we realized it ,I think not,- for it was only in 1984 that this plan came into the open Sikhs woke up ,the majority of which were wiped out ,question is have we woken up? Do you know the truth? Forget the Western Govts controlling you the real illuminati has been there for thousands of years, Guru Nanak Dev Ji realised it and told us - to free ourselves from it are we listening.

Sikhs are Hindus in the Indian constitution; - this is what the UN had to say about Sikhs - Right to self determination.

Sikhs in India are termed as Hindus, under the constitution ,as Sikhs are Hindus,- Hindus already have thier own nation, no Hindu is demanding Freedom or the Right to self determination .How can Sikhs demand Self Determination when they are Hindus - who are fine in India.

You see how clever the plan of the brahmin elite is, they had already clubbed us in with Hindus, as they knew we would raise our head. In terms of law it makes perfect sense Sikhs are Hindus, Hindus do not want Freedom so what are Sikhs on about when they are Hindus.

We don’t exist in India ,we only exist as Hindus, otherwise we are not there non existent,

They stick up puppets of the Hindu elite in Govt positions so that the World can turn around and say oh Sikhs have a Indian PM or this minister or that minister, that is all part of the plan to fail the Sikh Movement for freedom from slavery ,Sikhs who are easily lead will give in to things like sticking a keshadhari hindu in a Govt position and they will claim things have got better when in reality this is nothing.

OPERATION SHAANTI THE ULTIMATE GENOCIDAL PLAN WAS PUT TO A HALT WHEN INDIRA GANDHI WAS SHOT DEAD, IT WAS A PLAN TO FINISH OFF SIKHS IN A PROXY WAR WITH PAKISTAN, AND IT INVOLVED AIR CARPET BOMBING CAMPAIGNS AND HORRIFIC USE OF DEADLY WEAPONS ACORSS THE PANJAB.

When Will We Wake Up?

"It (Hinduism) is like the boa constrictor of the Indian forests. When a petty enemy appears to worry it, it winds round its opponent, crushes it in its folds, and finally causes it to disappear in its capacious interior....Hinduism has embraced Sikhism in its folds; the still comparatively young religion is making a vigorous struggle for life, but its ultimate destruction is, it is apprehended, inevitable without State support." (Max Arthur Macauliffe, 1903)

Hinduism has always been hostile to Sikhism whose Gurus powerfully and successfully attacked the principle of caste which is the foundation on which the whole fabric of Brahminism has been reared. The activities of Hindus have, therefore, been constantly directed to undermining of Sikhism both by preventing the children of Sikh father from taking Pahul and reducing professed Sikhs from their allegiance to their faith. Hinduism has strangled Budhism, once a formidable rival to it and it has already made serious inroads into the domain of Sikhism. (D. Petrie, Assistant Director, Criminal Intelligence, Government of British India, Intelligence Report of 11th August, 1911)

Iran: Woman to be hanged after 18 years in jail

Tehran, 16 July (AKI) - An Iranian woman arrested at the age of 13 is due to be hanged after spending 18 years in jail.

Soghra Molaii Najafpour was sent to work as a maid in the northern city of Rasht, on the Caspian Sea, when she was nine years-old and accused of the murder of her employer's eight-year-old son, Amir.

She claimed responsibility for the murder of Amir in court , reportedly under pressure, and told the judge how she killed the boy.

However, her confession was contradicted by other evidence that raised doubts about her confession. She later said she had not killed Amir, but she was sentenced to be executed.

When Soghra was 17 years old, she was transferred to solitary confinement, where she was kept until she would be executed before dawn of the following day.

Soghra escaped execution after Amirʼs mother could not bring herself to witness Soghraʼs execution, and had requested that the execution be postponed until a later time.

Soghra, now 31, was freed by the General Court of Rasht after posting 6,000 dollars bail, according to a human rights website called SaveDelara.com.

After learning she was freed, relatives of the victim she allegedly killed filed an appeal to have her execution carried out.

However, according to the site SaveDelara.com, when Soghra was a maid in Rasht, she was subjected to sexual abuse and was repeatedly raped by Amirʼs father.

The site claims that on the day of the incident, Amirʼs father had once again attacked Soghra and was raping the 13 year-old when Amir walked in and witnessed the crime.

In an attempt to get rid of him, Amirʼs father pushed the young boy away, and that is how young Amir hit his head to the wall, fell to the ground, and lost consciousness.

Soghraʼs employer then allegedly forced her to dispose the boyʼs body in a well because he could not bring himself to do so.

Soghra is now awaiting a date for execution in prison.

Iran has ratified international treaties including the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child, which forbids capital punishment for underage youth who commit crimes.

In Iran young men are considered to be adults from the age of 14 and young women from the age of eight and a half, and therefore responsible for any crimes that they commit.

But also in the book they include a timeline in which Namdharis and nirankaris are described as Sikhs. Both these Groups have been named as cults by the Akal Thakt. The Namdharis Disrespect Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji by saying "it is a holy book and not the Guru", they believe in a living Guru. The same can be said for the nirankaris, it is also the nirankaris that were responsible for the injuries of 188 Sikhs and the Murder of 13 Sikhs in Vaisakhi 1978. The leader of the Nirankaris at the time put his feet on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Sikhs led a protest to condemn this act but they were attacked by the Nirankaris. It is a Disrespect and Dishonour to have these cults in the Sikh Directory.

This Sikh Directory should be boycotted until they declare that they will not class these cults as Sikhs.

Picture of Murdered Singhs:

The Namdhairis Believe in this man Jagjit Singh as the Guru!

They have their own signs etc, in most Namdhari places of Worship Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is kept in a cupboard as a reference source and instead they bow to a photo of their Satguru.

If you have love for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and honour the Shaheeds lets contact Sikh Directory and tell them to sort out the next edition.

Air India Bombing CBC Documentary

The Air India Bombing CBC Documentary aired June 30, 2008. The documentary was largely a disorganized collection of anti-Sikh “terrorist innuendos” found in the Brahminist-run Indian press. It provided no new revelations or facts and sought to merely repeat the worn-out Pravda-type insinuations that the Sikhs have been bombarded with over the past 25 years. The Sikh viewpoint and counter-theories were not even mentioned and no context and background was given for the events such as:

· the political and economic repression of the Sikhs by the Brahminist regime in India including diverting Punjab rivers to non-riparian states, division of the former Punjab into 3 states in 1967, looting of Punjab’s green-revolution wealth by price fixing 50% below international prices, denial of Punjabi as a state language, and attack on 38 Sikh shrines including the Golden Temple in June 1984

· the murder of over 5,000 Sikh civilians by the Brahminist regime in the capital city of Delhi alone in 1984 (organized and lead by Congress MPs such as Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Kamal Nath while the police assisted the Hindu mobs and the army remained in their barracks for three days)

  • the massacre of over 250,000 Sikhs by the Indian army between 1984-93 sent in by Indira Gandhi to supposedly chase down “300 Sikh militants” (Indian Parliamentary Hansard, 1984)

Despite the Brahminist propaganda, the basic fact still stands that after millions of dollars and 25 years of “investigations”, no one has been found guilty of the murder of 330 men, women and children. Isn’t it time that the Canadian media stops misdirecting itself (and its taxpayers) and start behaving like a professional news organization?

Most Sikhs believe that the Air India Bombing (AIB) was a staged false-flag operation to brand Sikhs internationally as a “terrorist community” and neutralize their attempts to mobilize international human rights pressure on abuses by the Indian Army and Hindu mobs let loose to terrorize and massacre the Sikh population of Punjab. There is direct evidence that Parmar and Reyat were agents of Indian intelligence (RAW – India’s KGB trained by the Soviet KGB in 1960s).

For example, despite its narrow focus, the Air India Inquiry in May 2007 revealed that CSIS suspected the "Sikh terrorist" Parmar of being an agent provocateur of the Indian government (http://ottsun.canoe.ca/News/BreakingNews/2007/05/24/4204893.html; May 24, 2007). Then, CSIS conveniently erased 32 filed tapes in the late 1980s which linked their “Sikh terrorist” subjects to Indian consulates in Toronto and Vancouver (Soft Target, Andrew Scott). Parmar was “eliminated” by the Indian police in 1992. This begs the obvious question: what was he doing visiting the very country that was accusing him of blowing-up its plane? (It is like Abu-Nidal wanting to visit Israel!) Was he lured-in by his RAW handlers to eliminate evidence of the Indian government’s complicity?

Soft Target investigators also reports that the Air-India’s X-ray machine at the Toronto airport was “malfunctioning” that particular day and its crew was flown in from New York for the shift. Suspiciously, a large number of high-level staff at the Indian consulates in Vancouver and Toronto cancelled their reservations just days and hours prior to the flight. RCMP artistic renditions of the man who checked-in the suitcase (and failed to board) at the Air India counter in Vancouver depict a darker clean-shaven gangetic-looking man that does not ethnically correlate with the northwest Punjabi-Sikh face. Andrew Scott also writes from interviews with CSIS field agents, that they had come to surmise from their wiretaps and investigations that their primary suspect of the Air India bombing (AIB) was the Government of India (GOI) and its RAW intelligence apparatus operating in Canada. It seems that the Canadian media has outsourced its news journalism regarding Sikhs to RAW’s Brahminist Commissars over the past 25 years (Brahminist garbage in, and Canadian Press garbage out).

To reach the truth, it is about time that western and Canadian journalists start examining “the nature of India’s new Brahminist establishment and its agenda” for as stated by Jesus, “You shall know them by their fruit!”. India is lauded as a democracy, but its bureaucracy and political institutions are totally corrupted and criminalized and are under Brahminist control.

Since assuming state power in 1947, Brahminist communities (8% of Hindus: Lala, Brahmin, Bania castes) have done very well in India at the expense of the rest by systematically corrupting, monopolizing and looting all state institutions set up by the British. They are motivated by hegemonic historical-cultural ideologies spawned by fascist right-wing organizations such as the “Arya Samaj” (“Aryan Society”, established 1876), RSS (Rastriya Seva Sangh modeled on the Nazi RSS) and Brahmo-Samaj. In a largely mythical and delusional history, Brahminist-Hindus fancy themselves as some perpetual ruling-class of India even through the objective historical record bears witness to mostly non-Brahminist rule in the subcontinent over the past 2500 years (e.g. Buddhism, Muslim, Sikh) and various new influxes of peoples and cultures such as the Sakas (Indo-Scythians), Huns, Moguls and Pathans. These groups and their descendents created most of the known “Indian” empires, including the Buddhist empires of the Mauryas, Satrapas, Kushanas, Virkas from 300BC-800AD; the Muslim empires of the Ghaznis, Lodhis, Mughals (10-18 century AD); and Sikh rule before the British arrival in the 19th century.

The roots, dress and traditions of many militant landholding tribes and communities (e.g. Jats, Gujars, Rajputs) in the northwest subcontinent has been traced to Saka and Hun waves that settled the Indus-gangetic region between 500 BC–500 AD, and these communities form the bulk of the Sikh population in the northwest state of Punjab. India’s new Brahminist establishment has been attempting to economically and politically destroy them for they remind the fascist-minded Brahminists that they were not the rulers and “upper castes” they pretend to be. Hence, it is not surprising that all non-majority Hindu regions in India (such as in the states of Punjab, Kashmir, Hyderabad, Assam, Manipur) have been systematically subjected to Indian army occupation and atrocities ever since the Brahminists hijacked the former British empire in southasia.

The Sikhs ruled 5 large kingdoms in the northwest subcontinent before their country was annexed by the British to their southasian empire between 1830-50s and subsequently formed 50% of the British Indian Army before the Brahminist takeover of India in 1947. Over 83,000 Sikhs died fighting in WWI and WWII (over 185,000 were wounded; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKdOuP1Y-ig&feature=related). They were the primary fighting force in India’s 3 wars with Pakistan and delivered the Brahminists' their “victories”. Yet, being 2% of India’s population, they launched India’s so-called “green revolution” in the Punjab between 1960-80s and fed their starving empire despite the Brahminist regime’s betrayal and oppression.

The Story so Far!

ANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 16 - Twenty years after a bomb on an airliner en route from Toronto to New Delhi blew up off the Irish coast, killing 329 people, a judge The unexpected end to the trial after 19 months of testimony leaves the worst case of mass murder in Canadian history and the bloodiest attack on civilian air aviation on Wednesday acquitted the two Indian-born Canadian Sikhs charged in the explosion.

The decision by a provincial Supreme Court judge that the government did not make a conclusive case after two decades of investigations that cost more than $80 million represented a stinging rebuke to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Canada's intelligence agency.

But in the end, nearly all the physical evidence was lost 7,000 feet below the ocean. The most credible potential witnesses were either murdered, died of natural causes or were apparently intimidated from testifying.

The handful of important witnesses presented by the prosecution, who testified that they had heard the two defendants confess, were deemed unreliable and biased by Judge Ian Bruce Josephson.

"These hundreds of men, women and children were entirely innocent victims of a diabolical act of terrorism unparalleled until recently in aviation history," Judge Josephson said in his verdict. "Justice is not achieved, however, if persons are convicted on anything less than the requisite standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt."

Prosecutors left open the possibility of an appeal and the police said that they stood by their investigation but that the case remained open. The only person convicted of any role in the June 23, 1985, explosion has refused to cooperate and several other people suspected in the plot have never been charged. Members of the victims' families called for an inquiry into the handling of the case.

The two defendants - Ripudaman Singh Malik, a millionaire with significant influence among Canadian Sikhs, and Ajaib Singh Bagri, a millworker and Sikh priest - were longtime proponents of a separate Sikh state, but they denied involvement in the bombings.

As they left the courtroom, Mr. Bagri released a statement urging the fractured Sikh Canadian community to come together.

Air India Flight 182 was traveling from Toronto to New Delhi when it exploded, killing all passengers on board, most of them Canadian Hindus. Eighty victims were under 12 years old.

Another bomb, in luggage being transferred between other planes, exploded less than an hour earlier, killing two baggage handlers at Narita Airport in Tokyo.

Judge Josephson said in his verdict that he was convinced both bombs originated from flights that had left Vancouver.

Prosecutors said the bombings were part of a wave of terrorist actions in retaliation for the Indian Army's 1984 storming of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Sikhism's holiest shrine in an effort to capture armed Sikh separatists inside. The spiral of violence included the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards.

The case was a saga that stretched from Canada to England to India, including a Sikh liberation struggle that is now largely forgotten, the murders of several journalists and inexplicable mistakes by Canadian police and intelligence agents.

The trial had a Rip Van Winkle feel to it. Over the past two years, 115 witnesses described scenes and events that tested their memories.

Dozens of family members viewing the proceedings wailed and lunged to hug one another as the verdict was announced. Supporters of the two defendants cried out "thank you" and "thank God" in Punjabi as they pumped fists in the air.

The case against Mr. Malik, 58, and Mr. Bagri, 55, was largely based on the testimony of a handful of witnesses who said the defendants had confessed their involvement to them.

The suspected mastermind in the bombings, Talwinder Singh Parmar, was killed in 1992 while in Indian police custody. Another suspect, Hardial Singh Johal, who was accused of making the telephone call to reserve seats on the two flights on which the bombs were placed, was arrested but died of natural causes in 2002.

The only person punished for the crimes so far is a Canadian Sikh who was found guilty in 1991 for making the bomb that exploded in Tokyo and who was found guilty in 2003 for involvement in the other bombing. Having served 10 years in prison for his first conviction, he is serving a five-year term for the second.

But the man, Inderjit Singh Reyat, was not considered central to the plotting and his refusal to cooperate in the case dashed prosecutors' hopes that he would incriminate the defendants during the trial.

Canadian investigators concluded immediately after the bombings that they were the work of Sikh separatists, who openly worked for their cause in Canada, particularly with the large Sikh population around Vancouver. Agents of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service were following Mr. Parmar's activities, but eased their surveillance the night before the bombings.

The intelligence service recorded hundreds of hours of Mr. Parmar's phone conversations in the mid-1980's. But their potential importance was apparently not understood, and 284 of 340 tapes were erased. Defense lawyers suggested those tapes might have exonerated the defendants.

The pivotal witness against Mr. Malik was a former employee of his whose identity is protected by a court order. She testified that they had had a close relationship and that he had shared secrets with her.

She said that he confessed in 1997 to having a deep involvement in the bombings, including helping to organize the conspiracy and contributing money for the purchase of the airline tickets to check the baggage that contained the bombs. Judge Josephson said he could not believe the witness, especially as she said she still loved Mr. Malik and believed in him.

"That surprise edges toward incredulity," he said. "I am unable to rely on her evidence."

One of two important witnesses against Mr. Bagri was a woman who told an intelligence service agent in 1987 that Mr. Bagri had asked to borrow her car the night before the bombings. According to the agent, the woman said Mr. Bagri had told her that the baggage was going on the flight, but that he was not, and that he would quickly return the car.

During the trial, the woman, whose name is also protected by the court, testified that she could not remember what she told the agent. Judge Josephson ruled that she had pretended to have had a loss of memory.

The defense argued that the woman's original statement was problematic because the agent had not taken notes during his interviews and had not retained the tape recordings of the conversations. The agent had also shredded transcripts of the recordings, and instead submitted memos he wrote about the interviews for his supervisors.

Judge Josephson concluded that without tapes and transcripts, the agent's account of her previous statements amounted to "hearsay statements for which there is no reliable confirmatory evidence."

Conclusion

Whether it was the so called "Sikhs" or the Indian Government they have the murder of innocents on their hands. The world these days is into mass destruction weapons, all governments are guilty of this. A Sikh is only allowed to raise the sword as a last resort. But a real Sikh only targets the enemy in a direct assault with a simple weapon like a knife or gun. Even with guns you can hit someone with a stray bullet. The world has gone crazy with evil instincts and intentions. A real Sikh will always condemn this indiscriminate evil plot, infact bombs have no place in Sikhi, and they are a coward’s weapon and cause terror. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji taught Sikhs the ways of self defense, rightousness and justice. Revenge or killing of innocents is not a Sikh teaching. No sane person would ever do such a deed!

On the 21st June 2008, the above Gurdwara broke the Sikh code of conduct and made a mockery of Sikh principals. The pardhan of this Gurdwara Bukhtar Kandola aka Tari has been a thorn to the Sikh community. A known criminal and drug dealer, why the hell is he a leader of a Gurdwara beats me. The Sikh community must really think about this! The Akal Thakt has passed a hukamnama that only Sikhs (no matter what spiritual stage) can be have an Anand Karaj in presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This is to preserve the Sikh identity and keep the respect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in high regards.

Self proclaimed gangster tari thinks he is higher then the Akal Thakt and allowed a marriage of a non-Sikh in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

It is understood that Rulda Singh (a leading figure associated with Rastriaya Sikh Sangat (RSS) is the vichola between the two families. The Akal Takht has clearly issued a Hukamama to stop Sikhs associating with the RSS, for their blasphemous attacks on Sikh identity.

The groom has confirmed that he will not convert to Sikhism, and a parallel Hindu wedding ceremony will take place at a local Hindu Temple with a full havan after the Anand Karaj.

I think enough is enough it’s about time the Sikh Community get together and remove this pardhan from his position.

As of 16th August 2007 new guidelines issues by Sri Akal Takhat
Any persons previously of a religion other than Sikhism must show his/her commitment to the PURSUIT of Sikhi by applying the following criteria:

Include Singh or Kaur in the name - Changing by Deed Poll including Passport & Driving License.

Translation of royal order:

Ik Ongkar Sri Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Sri Amritsar

Anand Sanskar"Marriage Ceremony"

This is a message to all the Sikh Sangat that according to the Rehat Maryada only Sikh couples (male/female) can engage in the Anand Karaj Ceremony. If the couple or either one of them is not a Sikh, then they must embrace the Sikh faith.

This includes that they must change their second name to Singh or Kaur in their official document (e.g. driving licence, identity card, and passport) before the marriage.

(Signed)

(Joginder Singh)Jathedar

We must all keep in mind we only become a true Sikh once we take Amrit and follow rehat maryada. only then do we become a real Singh and Kaur.

For the protection of Sikh ethics, the Respectful conduct of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the preservation of the Khalsa Panth in the UK, the issue of Non-Sikh marriages in Gurdwara Sahibs was addressed by Akal Thakt.

Yes the Sikh Gurdwara is open to all faiths, colours, castes and backgrounds. Sikhs believe that God exists in everyone therefore serving the creation is like serving the creator. How ever Sikhs do have a code of conduct which has been put in place to maintain the respect of Sikh principals. Some Gurdwara sahibs in the UK allow a non- Sikh to get married to a Sikh in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Reasons why some feel this practice is making mockery of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji: In order to be a Sikh you must have faith in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and recognize Maharaj as the true Guru. You may not be a fully practicing Sikh, but one day you aim to become one. So one point is that if a person is not a Sikh, why would they want a Sikh wedding? (There is no logic in this). If you live in England, you can’t play for Brazil world cup team. Because that would be making a mockery of the national team, yet we allow non Sikhs who have no faith in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to make a oath in front of Guru Ji. (Where is the logic?)
In a court of Law a Bible is presented to a Christian, a Quran to a Muslim on which an oath is sworn, and not vice versa. A marriage is also an oath, and in the presence of ‘Jaag di Jhot’ Dhan Guru Granth Sahib Ji only those who have accepted Guru Granth Sahib Ji as their Guru should be taking marriages vows - otherwise it’s a mockery of the system, and disrespect to Guru Sahib”

We do not oppose interfaith marriages, but we will not tolerate the abuse of the Sikh Gurdwara code of conduct. Those wanted to have a interfaith marriage should have a wedding some where else and not bring their unlogical activities into the Gurdwara.

What is the traditional code of Conduct laid by Guru Ji and the Sikh Rehatnamas?

Have relations with a Sikh of the Guru. (Rehatnama Bhai Chaupa Singh)

Killing a daughter or to give a daughter (in marriage) to a non-Sikh, such a person commits great offence. Sikh should give his daughter (in marriage) to a Sikh. Thus Gurmukh meets a Gurmukh. Giving a daughter to a Bhadni (non-Sikh) is like giving nectar to a snake. (Rehatnama Bhai Desa Singh)

A Sikh gives (in marriage) his daughter to a Sikh and does not accept any money in exchange. He is my Sikh and will reach in my presence. – Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji

When the daughter comes of age only then relations should be contracted, not for a very young girl. And the relations should be Sikhs of the Guru. (Prem Sumagar)
