I aint got Naam Dhird, do i need to take Amrit again?

Every Gurmat Amrit Sanchaar is the same; Guru Ji blesses the Sikhs in the same way.

Very Brief description of Gurmat Amrit sanchaar

In Presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
5 Singhs as the Punj
Kakkars must be worn and devotee must be willing to keep hair uncut.
The Khanda (double edged sword is used)
The Punj banis are recited while stirring the water in the iron bowl with the khanda. (sugar crystals are added too)
The amirt is drunk and put in eyes and head 5 times each (Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh is repeated each time).
The Gurmantar, Mool mantar and Gurmat rehat is told.

So why do some AKJ’s say that "Our Jatha Sanchaar gives you Naam Dhird and no other Jatha Sanchaar does this" (Due to this reason they call other Amrit Sanchaars incomplete and advise people to retake Amrit from their Jatha). Every Punj piare tell you to read Gurbani and to wake up at Amrit vela and jaap naam by doing the Gurmantar and mool mantar (Amrit is the start of the journey it is not the end). The more you do this the more purer you become and with Guru Ji’s kirpa you get to God. What the AKJ’s call Naam dhird is a technique of repeating Waheguru with each breath.

For example when you breathe in you say WAHE and when you breathe out you say GURU.
It’s a technique of sawas sawas simran (repeating waheguru with every breath). You don’t need to be AKJ to do that. Non amritdharis even use this technique it is well known. AKJ Amrit sanchaars is just the same as any other Gurmat Sanchaar. I don’t know why people feel they need to take Amrit again because they didn’t get Naam dhird. I just explained naam dhird in this article (No need to go and see the Punj to get this technique).

If your not AKJ stay away!

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is a universal Guru and savoir of humanity. It is every Sikhs duty to share and spread Guru Ji’s teaching to everyone. We should have kindness and compassion for our fellow beings. Sri Guru Gobind Singh JI said “Recognize the Human race as one" The Guru made his darbar and langar open to all regardless of colour, caste, social status, creed and gender. Guru Ji went and healed the masses in Dehli from small pox, fought wars to protect humanity and even sacrificed his life for others. That is Gursikhi!

Some AKJ have private Simran sessions away from other Gursikhs and non-amritdharis. Fair enough if you want to do that, do it in your own house but don’t bring that mentality to a Gurdwara. That is just being egotistical and selfish.

O Nanak, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the Support of all beings.
In the Sanctuary of the Guru, peace is found, meditating on the Naam night and day.
The Gurmukhs shed their ego; attuned to the Naam, they find peace. -
Ang 29- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The Gurmukhs meditate on the Naam; they eradicate selfishness and conceit from withinAng 28- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Those who do their deeds in ego are like the prostitute's son, who has no name.-Ang82- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

When the Dear Lord Himself grants His Grace, they are inspired to love the Naam.-Ang 34 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Who the hell are we to stop someone from japping Naam in the sangat!

So join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and be imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord; there, your hopes shall be fulfilled.-Ang 545- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Guru Ji is telling all to join the sangat, where does it say no monas or non akj are not allowed. I mean japping naam is the best deed someone can do, no one has any right to turn people away from sangat.

You are the Universal Father of all, O my Lord and Master.-Ang 97-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

See the Lord, the Universal Soul, in all.-Ang 892-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Meditate in remembrance on the One Universal Creator; the True Lord created the entire Universe.-Ang 1113-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

O mind, contemplate the Sanctuary of God Meditating on Him in remembrance, Ganika the prostitute was saved; enshrine His Praises within your heart.- Ang- 632 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Story of Ganika from Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars Pannaa 10-

Gankaa was a sinful prostitute who wore the necklace of misdeeds around her neck.

Once a great man was passing by who halted in her courtyard. Seeing her bad plight he became compassionate and offered her a special parrot. He told her to teach the parrot to repeat the name of Ram (The Immortal Lord).

Having made her understand this fruitful trade he then went away. Each and every day, with full concentration, she would teach the parrot to say Ram.

The name of Lord is the liberator of the fallen ones. It washed away her evil wisdom and deeds.

At the time of death, it cut away the noose of Yama - the messenger of death.

She did not have to drown in the ocean of hell. Due to the elixir of the name of the Lord; she became totally devoid of sins and was lifted to the heavens. The name (of the Lord) is the refuge of the shelterless ones.-

The virtues of the Sangat, the Holy Congregation, are so very great. Even the prostitute was saved, by teaching the parrot to speak the Lord's Name.-Ang 981 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Do i have to say anymore, but knowing the attitude of some AKJ, they still going to think they are right.

Help a brother when he down; dont kick him. Most of you AkJ's were monas too. How do you think a Monas going to get into Sikhi if you are going to tell him piss off you can't come simran. Things take time, a baby crawls, and then walks!

Research into the dangers of eating Meat!

There is no nutritional need for humans to eat any animal products; all of our dietary needs, even as infants and children, are best supplied by an animal-free diet. The Human is designed for eating and digesting plant foods, so it is no wonder that our major health problems can be traced to meat consumption.

Gorillas are a very big and strong animal. They mainly eat plants and bananas, so all these excuses Singhs use “I need to get big and fight against tyranny that’s why I eat meat” is bull. Most of the time bare mans train to get muscles to impress girls anyway. They use the warrior card just to justify the free training in the Gurdwara gym.

The consumption of animal products has been conclusively linked with heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and osteoporosis. (Even a lot of vegetarians get these diseases but they are more common amongst meat eaters). Animal fat clogs arteries, leading to heart attacks and strokes. A vegetarian diet can prevent 97 percent of coronary occlusions. The rate of colon cancer is highest in regions where meat consumption is high, and lowest where meat-eating is uncommon. A similar pattern is evident for breast, cervical, uterine, ovarian, prostate, and lung cancers.

Low-fat diets, particularly those without saturated fat (High amount present in meat), have been instrumental in allowing many diabetics to dispense with their pills, shots, and pumps. A study of more than 25,000 people over age 21 found that vegetarians have a much lower risk of getting diabetes than meat-eaters.

A 1983 Michigan State University study found that by age 65, male vegetarians had an average measurable bone loss of 3 percent; male meat-eaters, 18 percent; female vegetarians, 7 percent; female meat-eaters, 35 percent

Consumers of animal products take in far greater amounts of residual agricultural chemicals, industrial pollutants, antibiotics, and hormones than do vegetarians. The absorption of antibiotics through meat-eating results in antibiotic-resistant strains of pneumonia, childhood meningitis, gonorrhea, salmonella, and other serious illnesses.

Fish is another source of dangerous residues because of the level of cancer-causing polychlorinated biphenyl’s (PCBs) found in the waters in which they live.

Throughout the world, forests are being destroyed to support the meat-eating habits of the "developed" nations. Between 1960 and 1985, nearly 40 percent of all Central American rain forests were destroyed to create pasture for beef cattle. The rain forests are the primary source of oxygen for the entire planet, the forests also provide ingredients for many medicines used to treat and cure human illnesses, and these resources have yet to be explored for their full potential.

The production of one pound of beef requires 2,500 gallons of water. It takes less water to produce a year's worth of food for a pure vegetarian than to produce a month's worth of food for a meat-eater.

Raising animals for food is an extremely inefficient way to feed a growing human population. The U.S. livestock population consumes enough grain and soybeans to feed more than five times the entire U.S. population. One acre of pasture produces an average of 165 pounds of beef; the same acre can produce 20,000 pounds of potatoes.

If Americans reduced their meat consumption by only 10 percent, it would free 12 million tons of grain annually for human consumption. That alone would be enough to adequately feed each of the 60 million people who starve to death each year.

"Dutch Courage" in Sikhi?

The phrase Dutch courage is a slang term for "courage" gained from intoxication by alcohol.

"Hold up lads; let me just get a quick pint before we go and knock out that lad who tried to rape my sister"

Views of the People that think this is also a Sikh practice:

Before some Singhs used to go to Battle they used to steel their nerves with liquor.

It is a historic fact; in war times Guru Gobind Singh jee allowed the weaker Khalsa to have "Dutch Courage".

Views of People that disagree:

The Guru gave us Khande da Amrit, which gave Shaheed Bhai Sant Singh Ji the courage to come out of Chamkaur sahib fort and face an Army of 125,000 plus. When Guru Ji was preparing Amrit a sparrow took a few drops; the sparrow got so much courage that it fought off a hawk that came to hunt it.

Was it alcohol that made Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji fight with his head in one palm? No it wasn’t it was the shakti (power) from Gurbani and naam simran. When you do a lot of Gurbani you get a lot of Biras (Warrior energy).

When Guru Ji used to send his Sahibzadas (when they were only 12/15 years of age) to go and rescue Hindu women from the Mughals, did he give them a few shots too! All this Dutch courage nonsense is a complete waffle and distortion of sikhi. Its a football Hooligan practice; not a Khalsa soldiers practice.

Gurmat View:

Those who are deluded by sensual pleasure, who are tempted by sexual delights and enjoy wine, are corrupt, -Ang 335 -Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Drinking the wine, his intelligence departs, and madness enters his mind.-
Ang 554- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Even if wine is made from the water of the ganges, O saint do not drink it.
–Ang 1293 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

People are coming out with so much waffle these days it makes me cry man. I mean they come out with stupid things, but jokers follow them, it’s sickening.

How Many Budwisers did this cat have before doing this?

If you are walking on the street and somebody tries to mug you for your phone; are you going to say i have not got the guts to fight you now. let me go to the pub and then i will fight you for my phone. (laughter) Maharaj gave us Gurbani and Amrit of the double edged sword (Not a Pint of a man made Budwiser) for COURAGE!!!!!

Meat Issue?

Bare People give their views about Meat; but what does Gurbani say:
You kill animals (living beings) and call it a righteous action (halal). Tell me brother what do you call an unrighteous action? You call yourself the most excellent sage (person of great wisdom) then who do you call a butcher? –Ang-1103- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

If ones clothes are stained with blood; the garment becomes polluted; those who consume blood in the form of flesh (meat) how can their conscious be pure? -Ang-140-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The world eats dead carcasses, living by neglect and greed like goblins; or a beast, they kill and eat forbidden carcasses of meat. So control your urges or else you will be seized by the lord and thrown into the torture of hell. -Ang-723-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

One (a person who eats meat); keeps fast in order to please Allah, But (under the urges to taste meat) they kill innocent helpless animals. He keeps in view only his selfish motive in the forefront. He does not care for the feelings of pain and suffering of the poor animals through his ruthless acts of killing. What good is his word? -Ang-483-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The butcher slaughters the goat and its meat is salted and strung on a skewer. Laughingly, the goat says while being killed “I have come to this condition while grazing aak plants”. But what will be the plight (fate/situation) of those who cut the throat and then eat the flesh of an animal? - Var 37, Pauri 21-Bhai Gurdas Ji

Kabeer; to use force is tyranny, even if you call it legal. When your account is called for in the court of the lord; what will your condition be then? Kabeer; the dinner of beans & rice is excellent; if it is flavoured with salt. Who would cut their throat; to have meat with their bread?-1374-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Kabeer, they oppress living Beings and kill them and call it proper. When the lord calls for their account; what will their condition be? Kabeer; it is tyranny to use force; the lord shall call you to account. When your account is called for; your face and mouth shall be beaten. -Ang-1375-Sri Guru Granth Ji

Conclusion:
God has created vegetation (fruits, vegetable and etc), which sustain and maintain the human body. A true Sikh is not a cold hearted killer or murderer; therefore he/she doesn’t commit the crime of killing an innocent helpless animal (this is totally unjust). The act of slaughtering animals for their flesh is a cruel and brutal act, the person is known as a butcher (nasty word, when you think about it). A Sikh is at times a punisher (warrior) and does destroy the evil enemies to protect themselves or humanity. (This is totally justified by the Guru and is not seen as cold hearted murder). The flesh of the animal serves the purpose of transporting the soul of the animal, after death the flesh is known as a carcass (if the animal died naturally there is nothing wrong in using it to produce shoes, etc) but the act of eating the carcass is outrageous as the human stomach is not a graveyard to bury the dead. God did not intend for flesh to be consumed; eating flesh is going against the will of the lord.

The BBC just worked out now what the SP knew 20 years ago!

The scale of the problem of British girls being lured into prostitution in their own country is being examined by the Home Office.

A working group is being set up to examine "internal trafficking" of girls in their teens or younger. In some cases, girls as young as 10 are believed to have been groomed by youths pretending to be boyfriends. They are passed on and end up in prostitution. Campaigners said the authorities had been slow to react to the problem.

In a report seen by the BBC, the Home Office recommends that "the newly formed UK Internal Trafficking Group will seek to define the extent and nature of this phenomenon".
Home Office Minister Vernon Coaker confirmed it had commissioned work to examine internal trafficking. He said a film was also being made to be shown in schools to warn children of the dangers.

"There's work going on with prosecuting authorities to make sure they're aware of this issue and understand it and then there's work going on in communities to make sure that people are aware of this as a potential problem," he said.
"We also want to have services that protect and support victims as well."

Threats and beatings

The BBC has learned that internal trafficking follows a typical pattern in which a girl aged about 12 is approached and won over by a good-looking, well-dressed teenage boy.
He gives her jewellery, mobile phones and later drink or drugs, and pretends to be her boyfriend. Once under his spell, the girl is turned against her parents and persuaded to have sex with her boyfriend's older "uncles" or "friends" to pay him back for the money he has spent on her.

Gradually, she finds herself spending all her time with the older men who force her, often with violence, to work as a prostitute. Meanwhile, her original "boyfriend" is out targeting another young girl.

One victim Emma, which is not her real name, was targeted when she was 13.

"In schools we're always warned about a man in a white van, but we're never warned that someone nearly your own age could be targeting you to groom you for prostitution," she said.

Emma was too terrified to ask for help.

"They've threatened to rape my mum and make me watch," she said.
"Firebomb my house. Shoot me, shoot my family. They've threatened to do all sorts of things."

Parents 'bewildered'

Hilary Willmer, from the Coalition for the Removal of Pimping (Crop), said she had seen dozens of cases of internal trafficking. Ms Willmer said: "It can happen to any child from any family. The men, the gangs have all the experience. The children, the families and the parents are bewildered, don't know what's happening."

She welcomed the Home Office action, but said part of the problem was the law.
Once older than 13, a girl may be asked to give evidence in court against an attacker.
"In practice, unless the primary victim is prepared to give evidence then it's very difficult to make charges stick," Ms Willmer said.
"The men know this, so they often wait until the girls are 13 before actually having sex with them."
North Yorkshire Chief Constable Grahame Maxwell said many forces were aware of this problem and officers were now trying to piece together the national picture.
He said: "It is a very difficult crime to detect. We are talking about people who don't want to talk about things in the open.
"When they actually find out the extent to which the exploitation has been carried out on them, how much they have been abused, how much they've been forced to have sexual partners, it's a very difficult thing to come to terms with."

The UK Human Trafficking Centre (UKHTC) in Sheffield recently appointed a dedicated detective sergeant to work on internal trafficking cases. Nick Kinsella, head of the UKHTC, said the scale of the problem was unclear.

"The whole issue with trafficking is that it's a secret, covert crime and there's a great deal of control placed over the victims and so that's always difficult to break down irrespective of the age," he said.

Among the victims was 13-year-old Emma.

When she first fell in with a gang it seemed great. Emma had a new boyfriend who gave her jewellery and mobile phones, took her for drives and gave her alcohol and cannabis.
It seemed the height of teenage rebellion, but she did not realize the "gifts" were a way of controlling her. After a few weeks, Emma was introduced by her boyfriend to some older men.
It was quickly made clear she was expected to have sex with them.

"I don't think you realize until it's too late what's really happening. When you're only 13 and a child you don't see danger like you do when you're older," Emma said.

'So scared'

Soon Emma was spending all her time with the older "cousins", "friends" and "uncles".
She said: "There was one older man in particular who started to groom me and I used to have to do what he said or he'd hit me and stuff.
“I’d have to go and meet him or they'd threaten to bomb the house or kidnap me.
"I was so scared it got to where I felt it was better that I go and meet him even if I knew he was going to rape me."
Emma's involvement with the gang lasted a year and during that time she estimates she had sex with dozens of men. She also says she was not the youngest girl involved.
"I saw several other girls when I was in the flats used by the men. The youngest I saw was probably ten."

'Flattered'
Emma feels she and the others were picked on because they were easy targets.
She said: "They always choose vulnerable girls.
"Obviously if you're streetwise you'll pick up on it, but if you're a bit sheltered and they buy you little things or take you to McDonalds when you're 12 or 13, then you're flattered by it because you're getting attention off someone.
"You feel as though they're your friend. They have nice clothes, nice cars, they're well groomed, so it looks as though they've got money."
Once under the men's control, she found it hard to break away.
"You've got no self-esteem or self-respect because they take that away from you.

"For someone to rape you [again and again] doesn't hurt as much as when they raped you the first time because you haven't got anything anyway. You feel that sex means nothing," she said.

'Starting from scratch'

Emma's experiences have affected her badly. It has taken her many hours of counseling to realize what happened was not her fault.
"I had depression for a long time. I was on medication and didn't want to go out of the house, didn't trust anybody. I always felt physically ill. I had no confidence or anything.
"It's like starting from scratch again."
No-one has ever been prosecuted in connection with what happened to Emma.
She is trying to get on with her life, but feels cheated of her youth.
"I was a straight-A student at school. All that changed. It took away my chance of getting A-levels and going to university.
"It took away my teenage years. I never had a teenage life."
We have changed Emma's name to protect her identity.

Frontline Punjab Youth Comments:

The rest of Britain has just woken up; the Sikhs have been dealing with this problem from 20 years ago. The SP was set up to counter attack the crimes committed by extremist Muslim gangs. Sikhs were the first targets, of this type of crime. Some Muslim men see the women of kaffirs as a piece of meat; they don’t care what they do to them. Even if they treat them good; it is just done to convert them. All the SP used to hear from the police in the 80's and 90's was,

"There is no law against this sort of crime, if it exists. But you are taking things into your own hands and you can't do that Mr Singh. We know it’s hard for you to believe that your daughter is seeing an older Muslim guy, but you have to come to terms with it Mr Singh. Mr Singh I know its all about honour in the Sikh community, but why are you saying your daughter is a victim of grooming"
But now because it’s happening to white girls they wake up. We salute all the original SP members who tackled this issue in the past. I bet the police feel gutted now, their thinking "we should have listened to Mr Singh" (Laughter)

Amritdharis going on a RAMPAGE!

There seems to be new trends in the UK were Amritdharis who aren’t married are dating other amritdharis and getting up to corruption. Sikhs are meant to have a high moral character full of self respect and dignity. Any physical activity before marriage is forbidden. This is forbidden because you as a couple have not committed to each other and made a promise to stay loyal in front of Guru Ji and the sangat. Most important of all you need to obtain Guru Ji’s blessings before starting a married life, that is a Sikh Principle So why are Amritdharis doing the below:

Holding hands and taking walks in the park!

Kissing in the cinemas!

Dancing like the couple from the film Greece in clubs!

It’s bad enough normal Punjabis get up to this stuff, but so called amritdharis should be an example! Amritdharis should not be checking each other or cheat on their partner; all this is corrupt!

Gurmat view:

The lustful, lecherous man desires many women, and he never stops peeking into the homes of others. Day after day, he commits adultery again and again, and then he regrets his actions; he wastes away in misery and greed.-Ang 672- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Others' wealth, others' wives, and the slander of others - renounce your craving for these.-Ang 379-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Chastity, truth and self-control are in the Sanctuary of the Lord. – Ang 1037 -Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Chastity, truth and self-control come by practicing and living the Truth.-Ang 1067-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

“when I was mature enough, satguru Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji gave me this teaching: Until the day you take your last breath, you must take this and never forget it. You must always keep respect for your wife. You must never go into another woman’s bed, even in your dream- Sri Dasam Granth Sahib- Ang 842

Be faithful to your one wife; see others as your daughters, sisters and mothers (Vice versa for women) -Vaar 6-Pauri 8- Bhai Gurdas Ji

Without having Anand Karaj those who have sexual relationships, listen O Sikh the Guru states: He/she is not my Sikh. Those Sikhs who fall for a woman/man other than their spouse will not receive the blessing of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji- Rehatnama-Bhai Nand Lal Ji aka Nand Singh

To have a sexual relation (any form of sexual activity) outside of marriage is a cardinal sin for an amritdhari. If the commitment you made to Guru Ji on the day you took your Amrit is broken; the Amrit is broken and one looses Guru Ji's blessings. The pure bond between Guru Ji and the Sikh is lost. One must go and seek forgiveness from the Panj Piare and retake Amrit to obtain Guru Ji's blessings again.

A lot of historians write a lot of slanderous history about Guru Ji; read the Gurbani and then you will be able to work out the character of Guru Ji. Sikhs are only supposed to have one wife! (If we were supposed to have more then one spouse why did god give us one sexual organ?) In the Islamic community having more than one wife seems to be common.

What is the Tenth Gate?

People make this topic so complicated and confusing; most of the time they just go on and on, with out making any sense. They put their own views into their large essays. In a nutshell the tenth gate is a region within your head, if a Sikh follows Gurbani and lives according to Gurmat; in time the tenth gate is open and then one merges with the Lord (Supreme light). The tenth gate is opened with Guru Ji’s grace. Some yogis can force the tenth gate open with their yogic techniques of breath control, but they still see darkness, Waheguru does not reveal himself, because the yogi didn’t open the tenth gate through Guru Ji’s grace.

I will prove what I have said with Gurbani:

The body is the play-thing of the fickle and unsteady intellect It has nine doors, and then there is the Tenth Gate Reflect upon this and understand it, O wise one. Ang 152-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
The nine doors being two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, mouth, anus and urethra.

The body is a bag with seventy-two chambers, and one opening, the Tenth Gate.-Ang 477-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Says Kabeer, the nine openings of the body are being plundered; rise up to the Tenth Gate, and discover the true essence-Ang 339-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

These nine are plundered by negativity, but if we listening to Guru Ji and obtain his grace we can get rid of negativity and reach the tenth gate.

The hard and heavy doors of the Tenth Gate are closed and locked. Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, they are thrown open. In the Tenth Gate, the Primal Lord, the unknowable and infinite dwells; the unseen Lord reveals Himself.-Ang- 1033 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, he burns away his anger He dwells in the Tenth Gate, immersed in the Samaadhi of deep meditation touching the philosopher's stone, he obtains the supreme status.-Ang 411-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Beyond the nine gates, the Tenth Gate is found, and liberation is obtained. The Unstruck Melody of the Shabad vibrates.-Ang 110-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The fortress of the body has nine gates; the tenth gate is kept hidden. The rigid door is not open; only through the Word of the Guru's Shabad can it be opened The unstruck sound current resounds and vibrates there. The Word of the Guru's Shabad is heard-Ang 954-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Through the Gurdwara, the Guru's Gate, some are blessed with loving faith, and the Tenth Door is revealed to them.-Ang 922-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Through the Tenth Gate, the stream of nectar flows; take your bath in this.-Ang 727-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

This is done by waking up at amritvela to do Simran, doing your nitnem, seva, charity, living truthfully, reading Gurbani and being righteous etc

From the Sky of the Tenth Gate, the Ambrosial Nectar trickles down.-Ang 153-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The Tenth Gate is the home of the inaccessible, infinite Supreme Lord.-Ang 974-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The above is the Gursikhs way of true yoga and the way to open the tenth gate. Like I said before some yogis can open the tenth gate, but they still see darkness:

What Yoga does he practice by having matted and tangled hair? If the mind is not pure, what use is it to hold the breath at the Tenth Gate?-Ang 1169-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The Yogi draws the breath upwards, and opens the Tenth Gate He practices inner cleansing and the six rituals of purification. But without the Lord's Name, the breath he draws is useless. The fire of the five passions burns within him; how can he be calm? The thief is within him; how can he taste the taste? One who becomes Gurmukh conquers the body-fortress.-Ang 905-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Inner cleansing techniques, channeling the energy to raise the Kundalini to the Tenth Gate inhaling, exhaling and holding the breath by the force of the mind - by empty hypocritical practices, Dharmic love for the Lord is not produced. Only through the Word of the Guru's Shabad is the sublime, supreme essence obtained. -Ang 1043-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Gursikhi is the true form of yoga, some Sikhs do basic yoga as a form of exercise to keep the body healthy (which is good). But to go too deep and dwell in yoga is a waste of time as Gurbani tells us.
A picture of a yogi

Don't they know the difference between a Singh and Kaur?

5 men answered Guru Ji’s call to give their heads. These men become Singhs once they received Amrit. Guru Ji then took amrit from the same 5 Singhs. It is five Singhs who have the right to give Amrit, this isn’t discrimination it is Sikh tradition. Off course it's going to be 5 Singhs who get this gift and duty because it was 5 Singhs who originally took the form of the Punj piare. 5 Singhs were given the form of Punj Piare by Guru Ji himself (so why are we changing a tradition started by Guru Ji). Mai Bhag Kaur Ji was a Sikh of high character, if any women were allowed to do Punj di sewa, she definitely would have been nominated by the sangat. In her History it is recorded that she was Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s personal body guard, but nowhere does it say that she did Punj di seva. The correct Physical form of the Punj Piare is five Singhs whether you like it or not! Don't be a doughnut! WAKE UP!

Can you Spot the Difference? (Laughter)

Want to come to a Singhs fancy dress party?

Before I start this topic I want to say this is not intended for the really young Singhs who wear the Bana, I am proud that they are excited about Guru Ji’s uniform. This is intended for the 18 years and over. Every kirtan programme you go to you will see Singhs dressed to kill! Bare swords, Shahsters out the Dumallas etc. If you ask these Singhs to come to a protest tomorrow their reply is “It’s all about our own jeevan, we need to become a Sant first”

So why are they dressed as Guru Ji’s soldiers if they are going to give that attitude! A singh is apart of the Khalsa army, there is no room for cowardice in a Singhs mentality. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji used to send his young sons (sahibzadas) to rescue Hindu women from the Mughals (who wanted to use them as sex slaves). The day you take Amrit and wear the Kirpan you take a vow to be a soldier of humanity. There is Little Black boys in the hood, who die for their principles. If they get skanked for 10 pound they are ready to die for their cause. Yet we are slack to defend Sikh principals in a peaceful protest. Singhs gave their lives; we aren’t even wiling to risk a speed ticket for the Panth. In 84 so many Singhs entered the movement knowing that it means all there family will be wiped out. That is a real Singh, if you are going to look the part, be it from the heart otherwise it’s just a fancy dress!

Not Intended for my young brothers! awwwwwwwww so cute! (He is packing too, damn)

You see Bare Singhs dressed in the same way as the above two pictures in all UK kiratn programmes, but never see them same people at a Protest! I can ask all my Mona friends and family to come and they do. Because they are ready to risk more for the Panth, even if they aren't practicing Sikhi themselves.

Bare waffle about Amrit-Vela!

There are a lot of so-called scholars who are saying that you do not need to rise in the early hours of the morning to remember God. They say that it is a ritual to do so, because whenever you remember God, that time is special and accepted. Yeah it is true that when ever you remember God it is special, But Gurbani also tells us the importance of Amrit-vela:

If you do not awaken in the early hours before dawn you are dead even though your body is breathing and alive. Ang-1383-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The immaculate, scared pool of the Guru is overflowing with the waves of the shabad, radiantly revealed in the early hours before dawn. Ang-1405-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

In the fourth watch of the early morning hours, a longing arises in their higher consciousness. They are attuned to the river of life; the true name is in their mouths and lips. The ambrosial nectar is distributed and those with good karma receive this gift, their bodies become golden and take the colour of spirituality. Ang-146 -Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

One who calls himself a Sikh of the true Guru, should rise early in the morning hours and mediate on the lords name. Upon rising early the Sikh baths and cleans them selves in the pool of nectar (nam). Ang-305-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

A Sikh of the Guru; wakes up at Amritvela recites Gurbani and meditates on God. A devoted Sikh shouldn't even eat breakfast until they have done their Punj Banis (apart of Nit-nem) in the morning. This shows that Spiritual food is more important then physical food, Guru Ji, says "What is the point of living if you don't worship the Lord"

What are you going to be?

A Sikh of Guru Ji or a Sikh of a waffler scholar?

Why the Sikhs do Simran?

Simran (remembrance) is known as the repetition of the Gurmantar. The Gurmantar is “WAHEGURU” meaning wondrous lord. The Gurmantar is like a magic potion to the Sikhs, which cures all illnesses in this Dark Age. The Gurmantar was given to the Sikhs by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji as a medicine to cure the Sikhs from the diseases of Kaljog (Dark age). We have an inner battle with our mind; our mind distracts us from the truth. Simran weakens the power of the mind and keeps you intact with truth.

To cleanse and purify the body we would have a bath, in the same way simran is the bathing of the soul. Simran cleans dirt from within, for example: sins, bad deeds and bad karma. Simran burns these away like hay on fire. Simran purifies the mind and soul, therefore you have less sinful thoughts and this leads to less sinful deeds.

Simran helps us control the mischievous mind, which is subject to Maya (worldly desires), lust, attachment, ego, greed, hate, jealousy, slander, and all sorts of other negative things. In time with Guru Ji's blessing the soul becomes purer and one is liberated from the cycle of life and death (reincarnation).

Simran makes your soul become fearless, therefore as a saint soldier Simran is a important part of the daily routine. Without simran Sikhs would not have been able to bare tortures, imprisonment and death without any sign of fear. Sikhs fought without fear against all odds and with Guru Ji’s help came out victorious on a number of occasions.

Seva (selfless service), Simran, good deeds and truthful living are all essential ingredients that will help our soul get salvation (our soul merging back with the supreme soul-God)

So when you do simran close your eyes and concentrate on your soul and think “Guru Ji please clean me and help me get closer to God”. Please burn away my sins waheguru! We should be doing as much simran as we can, go to the Gurdwara simran sessions. Simran at amritvela is so important, Guru Ji, says whoever don’t do simran at amritvela has no chance of liberation.

Some people may not be able to read Gurbani, but there are no excuses for Simran. So lets all unite, organize simran sessions in your university, homes and local gurdwaras.

His Guru-mantar is Vahiguru, whose recitation erases egotism. -Bhai Gurdaas Ji Vaar-13

The Holy Saint has shown me the Way to the Lord; I chant the GurMantra.-
Ang 321- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

One who is blessed with the medicine of the GurMantra, the Name of the Lord, O servant Nanak, does not suffer the agonies of reincarnation.
-Ang 1002-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

While walking and sitting, sleeping and waking, contemplate within your heart the GurMantra.-
Ang 1006-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The poison of corruption is flowering forth in the four directions; I have taken the GurMantra as my antidote. Ang 1209-Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Disrespect in the Darbar Sahib!

Gurbani is the word of God; it takes us from the darkness to the light and truth. Therefore Gurbani should be shown the utmost respect because it is the key to salvation. But when in the Darbar sahib a lot of people young and old, chat about other things while the Akhand paht or kirtan is being recited. There was this time I went to two old ladies who were nattering away about some stupid things, I go to them go outside and talk, and whatever you are talking about isn’t higher than Gurbani, so why are you talking about it while Gurbani is being recited. Instead of listening to me they got angry at me, this is the state of our people. It is a great disrespect to over talk Gurbani; I mean a school teacher even asks for silence when they are explaining their lesson. Guru Ji is the teacher of teachers so why aren’t we showing the respect deserved. Instead we chat away in the darbar sahib over talking the Gurbani being recited like we know better than Guru Ji. In an indirect way we are insulting Guru Ji when we do this. Sometimes there is a desperate situation that requires immediate attention within the darbar sahib, but even then just the faintest whisper is needed. The way some mans talk is like they are performing a rock concert to thousands of fans, this breaks the concentration of people that are focusing on Gurbani. It is a Great sin and disrespect to over talk Gurbani. Not only are you insulting Guru Ji, you are breaking the concentration of the sangat.

The Darbar Sahib is not a discussion room!

Even when mans have to talk in an emergency they talk as if they are using a Loudspeaker, i swear the whole pind can hear what is being said. Our people just have too much hype and commotion in familair places, but on the streets the same man giving it 10 in the darbar sahib like he is some ex army commander, would just stay quite if a little thug swore at him.

Some women have lost the plot?

I am not a women basher but this article is aimed at our women because they are most guilty of this offence. People go to the Gurdwara to get peace of mind from the hectic world we live in. Everyday we see women on the streets that have no self-respect. Their exposed dress sense sends negative thoughts to a mans mind. The last place I expect to see tarts is in the Gurdwara, but our girls forget that they our going to Guru Ji's house and dress as if they were going clubbing to pull (They are dressed to entice). The dress sense is so disgusting it’s like they are dressed to go and work in a brothel. They show-off all their assets as if they are competing for a brothel customer to pick them. Sri Guru granth sahib ji is our living Guru, but obviously this doesn’t hit the mind of most girls who present themselves in front of Guru ji dressed as slag’s. They walk in with their mums and dads; I wonder why the parents don’t tell them off. Because I wouldn’t let my daughter into the car if she was dressed like a tart. You all know the type of women I am talking about; I think they should not be allowed to enter the Gurdwara until they go home and change. Would Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji have allowed a woman with no shame, self respect and immodest behaviour (exposed dress sense) into the sangat? I can’t picture that, where has the honour of our women gone? It’s a disgrace! A modest dress code should be applied when going to the Gurdwara. It's common sense and respectful to do so. Or do we have to get Guards who tell people to go home and change at the gates of a Gurdwara? This goes out to all the women that are guilty of this offence, FIX UP

I think if someone attends the Gurdwara dressed inappropriately, they should be barred entry until they reform their unacceptable dress code. If clubs can do it, why cant the house of Guru Ji. Guru Ji is the king of kings and we should dress in a sensible manner when we present ourselves in the court of Guru Ji. Girls who are guilty of this don’t get angry and all stubborn. Learn and improve, the Gurdwara is not a place to send out lustful vibes!

I have seen women with all the above dress senses in Gurdwaras, look at how much curves and flesh is shown. I know people are getting vexed that how can they put pictures like this up. But when you see women dressed like this in the Gurdwara, why don't you get vexed and tell them. I think it would be better if another woman would go and speak to women that are dressed outrageously. We need to educate people!

If you are anti-freedom you are anti-Sikh!

In Sikh history the Khalsa army of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji has clashed iron on iron, and sacrificed many lives to liberate the oppressed from the tyrannical authorities of the times. At times power was handed over to good locals, or where necessary Khalsa Raaj was made. Khalsa Raaj isn’t an invasion of another persons land to gain power for greed, domination and oppression. Khalsa Raaj was only maintained to protect humanity. The Sikhs of Punjab fought off the British Invasion with all its might, however due to traitors the British managed to conquer Punjab. But still little splinter cells of the Singhs fought to free people from British oppression. When the British left, the Sikhs were left under the mercy of the Hindustani Government. The tyrannical government of Hindustan is now oppressing the Sikhs, they have forgotten about the sacrifices made by the Sikhs. The government is mainly run by High caste Hindus, who feel threatened by the Sikh ideology of equality. The Sikhs were made the subject of a mass genocide and clever tactics are being used to destroy the fundamental Sikh concepts. Sikhs are second class citizens and are a venerable people with no security because they are hunted down by their own government. The Sikhs need freedom, we need independence. Every nation has the right to self-determination. If we have our homeland (base) we can keep a legitimate army to protect Sikhs and our Identity. We can make our religion flourish without the fear of reprisal attacks from the Hindustani government.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji says “Without rule, religion cannot flourish, and without religion you are doomed” – Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji

Any Sikh who is anti-freedom is a certified Papu and needs to see a Dr. If you are anti freedom, you are anti-Sikh! We freed others its time we free ourselves from the shackles of slavery! Wake up saint Soldiers!
We are treated like caged animals!
We are Hunted like sitting ducks

We need Freedom!
