Navtej Singh's father was honored with a siropa and a gold medal at the Sunday diwan held at Stockton Gurdwara Sahib in California. Navtej Singh is one of the two youths who provided justice to the notorious thug Ajit Poohla by setting him on fire at the central jail in Amritsar, Punjab.
Bhai Daljit Singh, who grew up with Navtej Singh aka Guggu shared his memories with the sangat. He said that Navtej was a very kind hearted person as a child.
Navtej Singh's father also shared a few words with the congregation. He said that his son had made him a proud father by doing a great deed.
