Akj Cause Tension!

I did not take my Amrit from AKJ, but I believe we are all the same as long as we took Amrit from 5 Singhs with good rehat. However at cross roads Gurdwara Coventry, AKJ organize a Amrit Vela Simran Session. Because I was not part of AKJ I was asked not to attend this session. If I wanted to attend I was advised to take my Amrit again from AKJ.

AKJ crossroads view:

The Panj Piare have given us the jewel of Naam Dhir, when we want to clean and improve our jewel, we want to do it with our jatha brothers and sisters to keep it personal.
I think this is so silly and stupid, Sikhi is universal, no one should be asked to stop japping naam. The doors of the Gurdwara should be open to all, Baba Deep Singh Ji wasn't AKJ would they have said no to him.
I think this is egotistical, and is anti-Sikh.

If Naam is a jewel it should be shared, because selfishness is anti-Sikh. Gurbani tells us that naam exists in all beings, because our soul is apart of waheguru. We are to clean our soul with Gurbani, Simran and Seva. This cleans our soul, and with Guru Ji's kirpa the naam current vibrates inside us. With Guru Ji's Kirpa our soul can merge back with waheguru's with the power of naam.

AKJ cross roads is acting like a cult, they are creating disharmony.

I ask the senior members of the AKJ to sort this issue out!

Wheres The Unity?

For most people their so called jatha or bunch of friends comes before the Panth. What i am trying to say is that no matter how panthic the cause, if your jatha or group of friends isn't up for it, you just tend to ignore it too. We have to live our life for Guru Ji, and not be a mere follower of others. If we really loved Guru Ji we would understand that all Sikhs are Sons and daughters of Guru Ji. We might have different views etc, but we should not fight each other over these because we belong to the same family. We should sort things out diplomatically where possible. Most of the time, our different views are due to lack of knowledge/education, misunderstandings and misconceptions. There is no need to fight each other over the mentioned reasons because the person is not doing bad intentionally. However if people are distorting Sikhi and disrespecting Guru Ji intentionally, we do have to take a stand. We need to put our differences aside and learn to live with each other and draw buffer zones where appropriate. For example if you don't believe in Raag mala, don't rip it out of Gutkas etc , because other people regard Raag mala as Gurbani, and it will cause fights if you do rip it out. We need to stand together to defend the Panth against the real enemies, who are out to destroy us. We are too busy hating each other, while the people that really hate us are destroying us. Stop and think, what's bigger your Jatha or the Panth?

Fight and Cross the Lines of Battle together
United we stand and divided we fall
The Singhs Need to unite under the Nishan Sahib

We are One Big Family, The Panth

Our Love for each other will destroy their big weapons

We are Guru Gobind Singhs Ji's Khalsa, he is our father and commander. We all bow to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Don't call yourself Panthic, if you can't put minor differences aside for the betterment of the Panth!

Why Women are not given the Seva of the Punj Piare?

When Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji asked for a head from the Sangat, he did not state whether he wanted a Mans head or a woman's head. 5 men sacrificed their heads, and became known as Singhs. They were called the Punj Piare (the 5 beloved ones); they were given the duty of giving Amrit to the sangat. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself took Amrit from 5 Singhs. The form of the 5 beloved ones is Singhs. Because no women stood up, no Kaur was given a place in the 5 beloved ones. Therefore the gift of giving Amrit was given to Singhs, this is not discrimination. If a women stood up, off course she would have been given a place in the 5 beloved ones, but a women never. This topic is that simple. This cannot be changed; there is no point in debating this topic.

Blood on the Nishan Sahib!

I have heard of blood on the dance floor, but Blood on the Nishan Sahib?
The nishan sahib is the flag of the Sikh nation and Khalsa army. Every Gurdwara has one to show it's location. The Nishan sahib reminds us of all the shaheeds, and is a symbol of honour.

When we replace the cloth, the stand and pole is often washed with milk and water as a sign of respect for the Nishan Sahib. However some people have decided to cut them self and put a bit of their blood on the Nishan Sahib when washing the metal pole.
Views of people that agree with this practice:
Our shaheeds gave their blood for us, by doing this we show that we are ready to do the same.
If you haven't got the guts to just take a few drops of your blood to show respect for the shaheeds, how will you go to war for the panth.
Veiws of people that disagree with this practice:
Cutting yourself is self harming and is a mental disorder.
If you really want to show respect to the shaheeds, do seva for the panth and hopefully with Guru's kirpa, you too one day might become a shaheed.
Bravery is when you risk your life for humanity.
Conclusion:
Cutting yourself to clean the Nishan Sahib is just crazy and bizarre, if you really want to give your blood for the panth, fight for humanity and against injustices. Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji gave his blood for the Panth the real way.
